On the Record with Tuomas Holopainen, Johanna Kurkela, & Troy Donockley of Auri
Auri III - “Candles & Beginnings”
Fans of Auri are getting a double-whammy this August, as the band celebrates both the release of their third album, “Candles & Beginnings,” and begins on their first-ever live tour throughout Finland and Europe. As someone who has always enjoyed the music these folks create, it’s an endless pleasure to get to pick their brains for a few minutes just to see what’s new and what sparks their spirit.
This for On the Record interview focuses on the band’s bond and how they function in the modern world, the things they love and that inspire them, whether Auri is “metal,” and what they’re looking forward to in the upcoming tour.
Thanks for checking it out, and please do the usual subs and shares if you want to see more of these in the future!
