I was able to have the opportunity to help out with these two albums after making the acquaintance of Jukka Karinen, who plays in both Status Minor and Thunderstone. Both vocalists - Markku Kuikka and Pasi Rantanen respectively - were not very confident speaking or pronouncing English. In the case of the former, we worked remotely, with Markku sending me demos and me sending voice messages back with problem areas, corrections, comparative words, and helpful tips to encourage him to find the right sound. With the latter, I spent the afternoon in the studio with Pasi during recording, listening to his takes, marking the problem parts, practicing, and then letting him continue recording.
