Off the Record with Kai Hahto
On October 23rd, 2026, fans will be celebrating 35 years of Kai Hahto’s exceptional drumming career. Unfortunately, I won’t be in the country to attend, but I did sneak a very quick interview in with him on October 9th while he was in town doing some promotion.
In our brief chat—as traffic delayed me a bit and he had to run off to another interview—we talked about the touring break from Nightwish, who are the craziest versus most civil bands to be on the road with, his Alone shows, and much more!
